Challenge
As part of The Village Dallas’ multi-billion dollar expansion, we were charged with giving almost a dozen food and beverage, hospitality and retail businesses a brand truth, name and visual identity.
Discovery
Each location within this master-planned community needed to have an identity and brand truth of its own, but still work within overall master brand. This Mediterranean-inspired wine bar is located within The Drey Hotel, which we also named and branded. So creating an archetype and identity that is complementary to The Drey’s brand truth was essential.
Activation/Manifesto
The perfect name for this venture was Anise. Named for the flowering plant and spice whose flavor and aroma are common to in the eastern Mediterranean region.
